She has facilitated her workshops in the U.S., Canada, Europe and South America with clients such as the Motorola, Sears, CB Richard Ellis, Pulte Homes, TCF Bank, US Department of Labor, OSHA, New York Bar Association, Collaborative Law Institute, National Restaurant Association Education Foundation, Association of Occupational Health Professionals, Washoe Health System, Society of Women Engineers, National Association of Women Business Owners, Harvard Business School Club, Clemson University, Chicago Public Schools and Quest Academy. Encouraging adults and children to recognize and respect the best in themselves and others is the essence of her workshops and books. Sheilas What Color Is Your Brain? book and program incorporate a fun and fascinating approach to understanding yourself and others. Her personality color code helps individuals understand, value and accept their personality and the personalities of others, improve their job performance, communicate and collaborate more effectively, resolve conflicts quickly, build healthier relationships, and create harmony in their professional and personal lives. Sheila has appeared on CNN, NBC, ABC, FOX, LIFETIME and WGN TV. She has been interviewed on radio stations nationwide and featured in the Wall Street Journal, Chicago Tribune, Chicago Sun Times and Daily Herald newspapers, Selling Power, American Society of Training and Development, HR, Womens World, Seventeen and Enterprising Women magazines, and the Discover Card and Quill Corporation national customer newsletters. Today's Chicago Woman newspaper selected her as one of "100 Women Making A Difference" Sheilas first book, Princess Shayna's Invisible Visible Gift was published in 1997 and is the children version of What Color Is Your Brain?. Her educational and enchanting Family Fairy Tale offers children (ages 4-12) tools to recognize their Brain Color attributes and abilities to enhance their self-esteem and an appreciation of diversity. 10% of the royalties of Sheilas books is allocated to JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation). Sheila has been a member of the National Speakers Association, National Speakers Association of Illinois, Governors Commission on the Status of Women in Illinois, Congresswoman Melissa Beans Womens Task Force, National Association of Women Business Owners, Women In Management, Women In Networking, Society of Childrens Book Writers and Illustrators, International Womens Writers Guild, National Association for Self-Esteem, and a variety of other associations, as well as a board member of many community organizations.
